Another trophy sale has been confirmed at the tallest residential development on Hyde Park – The Bryanston, this time it’s one of the sought-after homes which has a south facing terrace.
Apartment 10.02 is a 2,933-square-foot lateral apartment on the 10th floor of the building. The exact details of the sale remain confidential however it represents another c. £6,000 per square foot sale at The Bryanston following the sale of an apartment on the 14th floor last month.
The prominent building features the highest terraces overlooking Hyde Park, providing sensational views over the capital and historic green space – and adding significant value to some apartments. Earlier in the summer joint development agents Knight Frank confirmed that outside terraces with views adds an average of 10% to a property’s value in central London.
Almacantar commissioned landscape experts Cameron Gardens to dress all private terraces at the development, whose other projects include Annabel’s, The Ivy Collection, Queen’s Tennis Club and Soho House.
Designed by the late Rafael Viñoly and completed last year, the luxury tower comprises 54 high-spec apartments including a lavish show unit by David Collins Studio and Nick Vinson.
“Apart from terraces and views adding significant value to the apartments, it is also the last opportunity to buy larger new build homes as planning restrictions are now in place for units over 200 square meter.” says Peter Wetherell, Founder and Executive Chairman of Wetherell which is instructed as joint agent on the building.
Over 50% of the development’s units are over the size threshold and all are ready for immediate occupation with a selection having private terraces.
Cameron Gardens drew inspiration for the planting from Hyde Park, incorporating native species, while outdoor furniture (sourced from a range of international designers) has a timeless neutral and natural colour palette so as not to detract from the views and allow residents to add their own personality.
The Bryanston, Hyde Park still has a range of unit types available and is ready for immediate occupation with apartments starting at £2,400,000.
