Dating back to the first half of the seventeenth century, the imposing Masseria Ciura, is an important structure in every sense: for the majesty of its interior spaces and the nature that surrounds it.

It has an enviable position in the countryside of Massafra, about 7km from the sea, in a hilly area characterized by Neolithic settlements and rock churches. Taken over in 1958 by Francesco D'Agostino, the Masseria and the connected farm, which has an extension of about 48 hectares planted with citrus fruits, olive groves and table grape vineyards, today represents a state-of-the-art structure in the field of farms.

Olive oil has been produced here since the XVII century and there is still an ancient oil mill with the Genoese presses. This olive oil is of excellent quality and obtained numerous national and international awards. To complete this landscape of great beauty, there is a river that crosses the property and a pond, where over the years many species of migratory birds have stopped and where other sedentary species have settled, making it an incredible place for bird-watching.

The property is surrounded by a centuries-old park which also houses a small church where you can celebrate intimate ceremonies immersed in the scent of orange blossoms.
