The much-anticipated film has led to Barbiecore references everywhere. This and the popularity of pink in Maximalism, has led to shades of pink popping up everywhere and have proven to be stunningly diverse and more versatile than ever.
Pinks compliment neutrals and even bolder colours equally, be it furniture pieces or soft furnishings plus they coordinate with other pink accents, whether it’s a plant, an artwork, or a statement bedspread.

Designers Dylan Stilin and Andrew Bowen of ASH Staging created a warm, inviting atmosphere where guests are welcomed to apartment 10E by a living room with pink-painted walls. The living room is decorated with metallic rose gold accents and bold contemporary artwork while a deep blue velvet sofa by Ginny Macdonald compliments the pink and completes the sense of relaxation and a connection of calmness.

Situated in the Upper East Side's coveted Carnegie Hill neighbourhood, 180 East 88th Street is a striking condominium developed and designed by Joe McMillan's DDG. Residence 9B features a spunky bedroom proving that pink really is the new beige. An eye-catching pink graphic wallpaper sets the playful tone for the room, which is complemented by neutral bedding, floating shelves and a dedicated study nook. One Manhattan Square
One Manhattan Square on the Lower East Side waterfront displays this beautiful pink living room in one of the model apartments. Designed by New York-based designer Anna Karlin, this home is based on a specific character archetype and is dubbed "The Instagrammer." This living area adjacent to the kitchen is full of eminently Instagrammable modern furniture and accessories with pops of bright colour including the bold pink walls.

53 West 53
In a full-floor residence at 53 West 53, the dramatic tower above the Museum of Modern Art designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Jean Nouvel, one of the bedrooms is all about pink. Designed by Rebecca Robertson of RR Interiors, the bedroom is illuminated by an oversized multi-arm brass chandelier and features a vintage chaise lounge chair and a collection of African gourd baskets grouped by the window. Artworks by Beatrice Caracciolo, Joel Shapiro, and Dan Walsh are set against richly textured taupe-pink wallpaper.
