Westbury Garden Rooms was founded in 1988 and is the designer, builder, planner and manufacturer of high end timber conservatories, orangeries, kitchen extensions and pool-houses.
With no two buildings the same, their complete design and build service takes into consideration each customer’s individual needs, to design a garden room that is perfectly suited to both homeowner and home.
Often including a kitchen, sitting room or dining area, a Westbury garden room is to be enjoyed every single day, and frequently becomes the main living room in every sense of the word.
Ambitious and innovative, Westbury’s designers have worked hard to develop their buildings over the years, moving on from the glazing and manufacturing traditions of the past so that their rooms can be enjoyed in all seasons. Their extensive research and refinement has resulted in a product that they can send across the globe, confident that it will perform as well in foreign climates as it does on their own soil.
Westbury garden rooms have been built all over Europe, including France, Denmark and Turkey, as well as in the United States & Asia. They are, however, entirely British-made, manufactured in a workshop in rural Essex by a team of long-serving craftsmen.
The company’s values are firmly based around providing a top-quality building that requires very little maintenance in order that it stands the test of time and there use of Accoya timber ensures every building is more durable, stable and sustainable than a hardwood alternative.
Director James Upton explains “We want our customers to be able to enjoy their garden room and not be concerned about when it might need repainting or replacing. We have spent years researching and refining our designs so that we can offer a building that requires very little upkeep and will still look fantastic in decades to come.”
