Independent prime central London buying agent Caroline Takla has revealed details on a series of deals where significant price savings have been achieved. Founder and Managing Partner of award-winning agency The Collection, Caroline has honed her negotiation skills from a career spanning nearly 20 years, recently achieving impressive discounts of up to 35% for her clients.

The Collection’s most impressive money saving deal of the year goes to a stunning lateral penthouse close to Chelsea’s Sloane Square. Originally on the market with a guide price of £20million, Caroline worked closely with the appointed agent to agree a deal at £13.5million which included furniture, an effective saving of just under 35%. The deal was agreed and the buyer exchanged on the property in only 48 hours, completing a week later.

A second deal was agreed for a separate purchaser on a 6-bedroom townhouse on Wycombe Square, Kensington. Bought by the owners for over £11.5million in 2008, Caroline agreed the deal at £7.7million, saving the client 34% on the original price paid a decade beforehand.

The third deal of note took place on the prestigious Eaton Place. Here the original seller purchased the property for £5.3million, listed it this year for £4.75million and Caroline agreed the deal at £3.15million, a saving on the original purchase of 33%.
